    Why this role matters

    Our customers run regulated mortgage workflows. Reliability, controlled deployments and clear operational visibility are not optional. This role owns the foundation everything else runs on.

    What you will own

    • Own cloud infrastructure across compute, storage, networking and secrets management.
    • Build and improve deployment pipelines, environment parity and release safety.
    • Deliver observability across logs, metrics and traces so issues are found before customers notice.
    • Improve security posture through access controls, secrets hygiene, audit logging and hardening.
    • Lead incident response, post-incident reviews and reliability improvements.
    • Evaluate cost, performance and capacity across environments.

    Expected outcomes in the first 90 days

    • Complete a full audit of infrastructure, deployment and observability posture with prioritized gaps.
    • Ship one meaningful reliability improvement measured by MTTR, error rate or deployment safety.
    • Establish an on-call and incident review process with clear ownership.
    • Deliver a security and access review with concrete follow-ups.

    Experience and capabilities required

    • Strong hands-on experience running production cloud infrastructure.
    • Deep working knowledge of CI/CD, IaC and container-based deployments.
    • Practical experience with observability, incident response and reliability engineering.
    • Solid understanding of cloud security, access management and secret handling.

    Helpful additional experience

    • Experience supporting AI or data-heavy workloads in production.
    • Exposure to compliance requirements in regulated industries.
    • Track record improving deployment speed without reducing safety.
